CLIENT:
Leading auto parts company which distributes automotive parts across the globe.

BUSINESS CASE:
The company was going through a major multi-phase implementation of PeopleSoft and needed a partner to assist them with the project. Working under an aggressive timeline, once one of their business segments completed their implementation phase, it would be time for the next segment to begin its implementation. Soaring was chosen to bring in a team to initiate the implementations for the new phases while the company completed and focused on prior phases.

SOARING SOLUTION:
Soaring selected a team of strong resources to fit the business need for the client with the functional and industry background required to deliver on the project. The team was tasked with leading the conversion and interface development for the business segments and ensuring that the programs were designed and running correctly based on requirements. The team was responsible for documentation and project decision making. They worked in concert with the company’s implementation team to ensure a seamless transition at the end of the phase. The team included a Project Manager/Coordinator and BA Leads.

RESULTS:
The company was able to utilize Soaring to ensure that its massive project would stay on schedule. Soaring delivered the phase on time and within the requirements set forth at the onset of the project. Soaring’s involvement provided the benefits of having the skilled and knowledgeable resources in place to enable the company to be able to proceed with its timeline without making any sacrifices in resources or knowledgebase.

CLIENT:
Leading office products company which distributes office products throughout the U.S. and Canada.

BUSINESS CASE:
The company was going through a corporate initiative where its parent company was implementing PeopleSoft and they were required to be able to interface system data. The company needed resources that they could trust would be able to deliver under pressure because of deadline constraints.

SOARING SOLUTION:
Soaring selected resources that had 10+ years of experience to make sure the client got the expertise they needed. Soaring worked hand in hand with the company’s director to ensure that all requested requirements were being incorporated into development designs. During this process we validated development results to make sure they fit with the requirements and current system data. We worked with the director to put together reconciliation procedures to ensure the outputted data was accurate. The team included a Project Coordinator and Business Analysts.

RESULTS:
The company met every project deadline set by the parent company. The company was able to partner with Soaring and meet their initial planned go live date. The company had great leadership and we were delighted to be a part of such a successful project.

CLIENT:
State of Georgia. The State of Georgia operates various entities across the state. The accounting entity provides reporting, accounting, and human capital solutions for the state.

BUSINESS CASE:
The state had a need for a resource to come in and provide functional expertise for them during an upgrade of their financial systems. They also needed resources to help them with ongoing production support for their financial and HCM systems.

SOARING SOLUTION:
Soaring provided the state with talented cross module resources that were able to conduct fit gap analysis. We also conducted analysis on current customizations to determine which could be de-customized as a result of delivered functionality in the new release. We rewrote functional design documents to adhere to customization changes for the upgrade, and performed test plan development as well as system testing. The client leveraged the expertise of our resources to help interview new full time candidates for their organization.

The resources put in place to assist with production support also provided the cross module expertise and overall experience that they needed. This gave them the flexibility to be able to cross train existing staff while not losing any level of support for their agencies.

RESULTS:
Soaring continues to work with the state to provide them with experienced resources to help them on ongoing projects and requests. Our resources continue to be a perfect fits for requirements from the state and we look forward to continuing to work with them into the future.

CLIENT:
A university system that operates over 30 universities in the state.

BUSINESS CASE:
Client had a need for a resource to assist them in a large scale consolidation project.  They needed a lead resource that had the experience and knowledge to guide them through decision making for some of their modules.

SOARING SOLUTION:
Soaring provided the client with one of the top consultants in the market with over 10+ years of experience.  We developed strategic approaches identifying what changes needed to take place as a result of consolidation.  We designed the new structure for tableset sharing which would be used by all of the entities that would be consolidated into the system.  We also put together the plan for a future phase that would allow the client to consolidate their vendors.  After go live, we provided onsite production support to ensure system stability.

RESULTS:
The client completed the project successfully and on schedule as each of the entities were consolidated into the single instance.  Soaring’s involvement provided the leadership the client needed to take the project through go live.  We also served as a mentor for some of their support staff as we assisted in many complex post production issues.

CLIENT:
University Client

BUSINESS CASE:
Client had a need for a resource to help them get their asset management system back in sync after bad entries caused issues with the data.

SOARING SOLUTION:
Soaring provided the client with an asset management specialist who immediately conducted a thorough analysis of the university’s assets and asset entry business process.  We were then charged with cleaning up system and user generated bad asset data across all underlying tables to ensure the data reconciled correctly across the various modules.  Soaring devised a new business process that would be used to then eliminate future data entry issues.  We developed reports for the managers to be able to quickly see history and measure the current state of their assets.

RESULTS:
Soaring was able to conduct a clean-up of the client’s asset management system to ensure that the assets on record were being accurately reported.
